Shipping Policy

A legal disclaimer

By placing an order with Soft Scie Creations LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), the customer (“you”) agrees to the terms outlined in this Shipping Disclaimer. These terms are designed to protect both the business and the customer, and to clarify responsibilities once an order has been shipped. ⸻ 1. Carrier Responsibility After Shipment Soft Scie Creations LLC is not responsible for packages once they have been transferred to the chosen shipping carrier. This includes, but is not limited to: • Delayed deliveries • Lost packages • Stolen packages • Packages marked as “delivered” but not received • Weather-related issues affecting delivery • Carrier errors or mishandling Once the package leaves our facility and is scanned by the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers fully to the carrier. ⸻ 2. Incorrect or Incomplete Address Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. Soft Scie Creations LLC cannot refund or replace packages shipped to an address incorrectly entered by the customer. If you contact us immediately after placing your order, and the order has not yet been processed, we may be able to update the address. This is not guaranteed. ⸻ 3. Tracking Information Tracking numbers are provided for all shipped orders. Soft Scie Creations LLC is not responsible for: • Delays in tracking updates • Errors in carrier tracking systems • Tracking showing “delivered” when the package is not at the location Any tracking concerns must be addressed directly with the shipping carrier. ⸻ 4. Transit Delays & Weather Conditions Shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Soft Scie Creations LLC is not liable for delivery delays caused by: • Severe weather • Carrier backlogs • Natural disasters • Holiday traffic • Carrier staffing shortages • Incorrect sorting by the carrier We cannot issue refunds for delays outside of our control. ⸻ 5. Package Condition Upon Delivery If a package becomes damaged due to carrier handling, heat exposure, compression, or mishandling during transit, Soft Scie Creations LLC is not responsible. We ship all packages securely, but once in the carrier’s possession, product condition is at the mercy of transit conditions. However, if the damage is due to an internal packaging issue (our error), we will address it under our Replacement Policy. ⸻ 6. No Guarantee of Shipment Redirection Carriers may deny address changes or delivery interruptions. Soft Scie Creations LLC cannot guarantee: • Package intercepts • Rerouting requests • Delivery date changes • Holding packages at carrier facilities These services, if offered, must be managed directly through the carrier. ⸻ 7. International Shipping (If Customer Requests) If international shipping is agreed upon: • Delivery times may extend significantly • Customs fees, VAT, tariffs, or import charges are the customer’s responsibility • Packages delayed in customs are outside our control • Lost or confiscated international packages are non-refundable ⸻ 8. Acceptance of Shipping Terms By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Shipping Disclaimer and our full Shipping Policy.

  • At Soft Scie Creations LLC, every order is handcrafted with care and prepared to ship with the highest attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and protection. Because our products are made fresh and packaged by hand, our shipping process has been designed to ensure your items arrive in excellent condition. ⸻  Processing Time All orders require 2–5 business days for processing before they ship. Our products are handmade, which means we mix, pour, package, and label each item in small batches. This ensures you receive freshly created products—not mass-produced or pre-shelved items. During busy seasons (holidays, sales, new product launches), processing times may extend slightly. If so, it will be noted on our website. ⸻  Packaging & Product Protection Each order is packaged with your product’s safety in mind. We use clean, sanitized materials and secure packaging to protect your items from heat, pressure, and movement during transit. Depending on the contents of your order, packaging may include: • Bubble padding • Protective wrap • Reinforced boxes • Leak-resistant seals • Weather-resistant mailers Every package is sealed to ensure no contamination or tampering. ⸻  Shipping Time Once your order is processed, delivery typically takes: 3–7 business days depending on your location and the shipping carrier. We currently ship within the United States only (unless you request international shipping; rates vary). ⸻  Tracking Information After your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email or text, allowing you to follow your package every step of the way. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear depending on the carrier. ⸻  Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages Soft Scie Creations LLC is not responsible for packages that are: • Marked as “delivered” but missing • Delayed by the carrier • Stolen after delivery • Lost due to incorrect address entry Once a package is accepted by the shipping carrier, it is under their responsibility. If your package is missing, we recommend contacting the carrier directly with your tracking number. ⸻  Incorrect Address Policy Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. We cannot refund, replace, or redirect orders sent to an incorrect address entered by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to correct it. ⸻  Damaged or Incorrect Orders If your order arrives: • Damaged • Incorrect • Missing items Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to include: • Your order number • Photos of the product and packaging • A brief description of the issue If the error is on our end, we will ship a replacement. ⸻  Shipping Cost Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on: • Package weight • Shipping distance • Carrier rates We may offer promotions such as flat-rate shipping or free shipping minimums during sales or special events. ⸻  Special Situations During extreme weather conditions or postal delays, shipping times may extend.
